Creativity KickStarter: Discovering the Power of Play

Play wakes up the brain, sparks imagination and unleashes creativity. Too often, being a grounded adult gets in the way of flights of fantasy. Jumping into spirited play frees the writer to take risks, conquer fears and discover new possibilities in their stories. Writers ‘work hard’ at honing their craft. In this master class participants will ‘play easy’ at harnessing their imagination.

Through hands-on play individuals will learn to quiet the editor, tap into their unique voice and identify sensual details that bring their stories to life. They will take home strategies and resources for incorporating play into their writing life as well as fresh compositions to weave into their work.
